    Default Fuel smell

    Vehicle: 2019 Silverado

Customer complaint: strong fuel smell under hood.

Long story short… pulled intake, check injectors, fuel lines etc. couldn’t find a leak anywhere. New “nose” came over and popped the top off the washer jug. Never a dull moment in this industry.

    More fuel = more boost!!

A spark plug on the outlet pointed forward would be a cool party trick at the stoplight.

Yeah, a little sportier than a harmonica in the grille. My favorite was a big ol zip tie on the driveshaft.

I need to know how this happened. I shouldn't be surprised.

I had that prank played on me my sophomore year of college, there was a video of it somewhere (with an actual camcorder, no phones). I pissed a lot of people off driving around Forest Acres trying to figure it out ... Stop signs were a bitch.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole, search " horn wired to brakes". There's a ton of these videos and some of them are hilarious.

That's almost as good as the one where the auto manufacturers make the car cut off at stoplights and stop signs.

I know someone who was filling up his boat and put 15 gallons in a rod holder. Didn't realize it until the bilge pump came on and the guy in line behind him told him about it.

Know a guy whose father FIL bought a VW back in the 70’s and was bragging about the gas mileage. So they would sneak down the road and pour a gallon of gas in the tank every night. Old man was getting about 80 miles a gallon. Then after a few weeks they started taking a gallon out every night. He took in back to the dealership telling they his fuel mileage was great then went to shit.

Happened to me once. Full service station and they would not let you pump your own gas. Gas started running out the drain at the transom. At three in the morning that guy got a good cussing.
