2021 Silverado
Cyl 3 AFM lifter dropped and ground down cam lobe. Parts are on back order so I’ll get a picture of the cam once we get parts and finish tear down. The 6 cyl’s having the same issues

The OG 4.3 was a 90 degree V6 last used in the 1993 GMC Typhoon
A newer version LT1 came into production in late 2013 for the 2014-2019(early production 2019) trucks and vans.
The LV1 is the newest and currently in 2019 +
GM is also putting in the turbo 4cyl 2.7 L3B
They never ran the LS platform. However LT is the same platform as the LS’s in theory. Just a newer generation.

GM had AFM engines long before that. They were shit before that and the level of shittiness increased when AFM became the standard.
