About 15 people protested outside a fundraiser where President Bush was speaking in Columbia.

Bush was speaking during a fundraiser for Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Graham has been one of the president's biggest supporters on immigration and the war in Iraq.

Protester Wade Fulmer of the group Military Families Speak Out says the troops in Iraq should be brought home. Fulmer held a sign that read: "Care now, home now."

The Vietnam veteran says five years of troops in Iraq is too long.

Bush was also in the state to make a speech on the war on terrorism at Fort Jackson.

What an idiot!!

Sorry, I don't like it but war is necessary. We are trying to rid that country of supporters of al qaeda who jeopardize our freedom and way of life.

Remember who was responsible for 9-11? They must be found and disbanded to ensure that it is not duplicated. Because no American wants a war at home.

I also know what it's like to be defending said freedom and being away from home for extended periods of time, but we signed up for it...no one held a gun to our heads and forced us into the military. It's our job.
