    looks greats.

I bought a 66 mustang when i was 14 for $1600 . 289 4-speed, built. body was a bondo and primer, but the engine was legit. Burnt up the backroads before i even had a permit. I remember the master cylinder going out and I drove it for weeks before repairing, having to put one foot under the brake, one on top, lift it up and pump it a few times to have any brake function. Thats what raising yourself looks like. Lucky to be alive. (rolled a car when i was playing Dukes of Hazzard on a long dirt road when i was 10, but thats another story.)

    I’ll take it, $5000, it’s old.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My father bought a 64 1/2 fastback brand new. He parked it for several years but when my sister and I got a license it became a shared car back in 1984. We ran that thing into the ground. Brakes got bad but I still drove it. Until I couldn't stop and ran into the back of someone. Dad had my ass. I paid $800 of my own money to fix the brakes. When I went into Marine corps boot camp my sister traded it in on a little rice burner car. They gave her $500 trade in value for it. I about cried. To this day, I'm still jonesing to get another one. One day I will.

back in high school my buddy Matthew Ashley's daddy had a bad ass 67 Shelby GT500.

Blue with white racing stripes and a 289 that would flat out tote the mail.

Being dumb teenagers sometimes we would sneak over to Mr. Roberts shop and take the Shelby out on Friday and Saturday nights.

There may or may not have been a few drag races involved. Jesus if that car would have gotten wrecked or torn up in any way he would have had our butts BIG TIME

Pretty sure that's a 65 but either way its sharp.

Kevin I have a 66 that needs head and exhaust work that I'll be sending you a text about shortly. Mine is not as nice as that one but I'm working on it. It was my commuter car when I was at Francis Marion

That '67 Chevy II is more to my liking. Had a yellow one years back. A 1966 Chevy II is still my favorite car ever built.

Thats correct...65 has a honeycomb grill and painted hood/grill edges. 66 has the ladder grill and chrome trimmed edges. 65 dash also has the sweep speedo, 66 has the 5 round gauges.
