Tikka has the integrated rail but I’m not sure how much faith to put in that- may mount a rail

If it were me, I'd run the factory rail & see what's up. Why assume it's broke from the get-go?

I would remove it, degrease the screws, and reinstall with Loctite.

Or, if you want/need a 20MOA rail, then go for it.

Only the CTR and UPRs have factory pic rails. All other Tikkas have grooved receivers for Sako rings.
You have to add a rail or use a Sako style ring. Area 419 is the Cadillac of Tikka rails. If you’re not using that one, it doesn’t matter.

These are bombproof and will allow you to get the scope lower than a rail ring combo.

I have a set of low Warne's on my CTR and it's perfect for the scope I have on it..

Really enjoying the CTR . It's a shooter.

I went with the T3x Hunter- I’ve heard good things about Tikka, we shall see.

The trigger in my tikka is just as good as the timney in my Ruger. I have a dnz one piece mount on mine and have zero complaints. That’s a 44mm scope.

You may have already decided on this, but I've utilized the factory rail cut into the receiver on two Tikka rifles - an '06 and a .243 - with no issues at all. I used Warne/Tikka rings on both of them.
