Bowl Matchups by Ranking

Everybody loves to hate on the SEC, which finished 5-4 in the bowl games.

What most fail to see is in order to get competitive games these bowl committees always put a higher ranked team against the SEC team. I guess they do this to keep the games competitive and prevent blow outs. We see this year after year.....
....and this year is no different.

#21 Tenn vs #17 Iowa
#22 Clemson vs unranked KY
#9 Missouri vs #7 OSU
#11 Ole Miss vs #10 Penn State
#5 FSU vs #6 Georgia
#22 Texas A&M vs #20 Ok State
Md vs Auburn....both unranked
* #13 LSU vs Wisconsin

* Only game where the SEC team was raked higher.

I’m just glad they put those 1 loss teams in the playoff. Everyone knew they would be the eventual NCG contenders.
