    Default New Year’s day meal

    Got my ribs on smoker and about ready to pull them

    Put black eye peas in crock pot this am with hambone from Christmas

    Wife doing the collards and mashed potatoes

    Pork tenderloins on the Primo
    Black Eyed Peas
    Collards
    Stewed tomato’s and rice.

    Oh and Chocolate wine pound cake.

    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    I always say "Cajun". Technically they are "Creole", but here's the recipe. Regardless of the name, they are good.

    Default Son in law whips this up every new year's day

    hog jowl, collards, black eyed peas, rice, corn bread and yams. I accidentally flipped my corn bread over, it was cast iron baked. This was plate #1
