    Default Rib Roast

Going to give a rib roast a try for Christmas Eve dinner this year on the Recteq. What is a good rub/binder to use?

Olive oil, coarse kosher salt, garlic, and pepper. Take out 10 degree earlier than the degree of done you are looking for. Enjoy.

Don’t let a woman talk you into trying “this thing she saw on the internet” where you cut the oven to X degrees and cook it for X time then cut the oven off and when it’s cool all the way down it’s done.

Whoever made that recipe either had a really efficient oven fan or a really poorly insulated oven.
