    we could probably train them to sit, and lay down. tranquilizer darts cost money.

    Measure the particulars and send the sheds. Then they can be attached to a mount to match the measurements.

    He probably was darted, but not just to take a pic. Many pen deer are darted for various reasons. Certain shots have to be administered in certain states, blood samples taken to be sure the heard is ok, and or sperm collection.

    To inseminate doesnt require dart. They usually run them through something that resembles a cattle shoot, and then a calf table. They will cover their eyes or work in the dark. The doe will all but stand there. But in the event she gets a little wild the "calf table" keeps her from harming herself or the human.

    You can imagine with all that head get old boy could easily get caught in a metal bar and then break his own neck!
