So, to answer your question; yes.
So, to answer your question; yes.
Yes ratings matter, football is about making money.
Why didn't FSU not make it?
Given: SEC is the most powerful conference
1. TV Money
2. FSU play terribly last night when it counted
3. ACC is an easy schedule
4. The QB injury is an excuse so they don't have to admit ACC sucks.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
DT, the answer is all of the above.
"George Washington didn't use his freedom of speech to defeat the British, he shot them."
FSU did curb stomp LSU. I guess it just means less.
Yep, Texas and bama both lost 1 game

Question who are all these powerful sec teams beating
Yeah with their star QB. The fact they could barely move the chains against Louisville showed that they are certainly not the same team without him. FSU needed to curb stomp the Cardinals to prove to the committee that they deserve to be there. And they didn't.
But the decision was a reflection of the truth... they ain't the same without their leader at the helm.
I think the committee got it right.

FSU won. Without star qb which makes it more impressive. ACC kicked SEC’s ass in OOC play, along with everyone else except the PAC12. The best out of conference win the SEC has this year is Kentucky beating Louisville…
You’re No. 1 is correct. If you want a legit No. 2 you can use FSU didn’t have as many quality losses as Texas and Bama.
Why the hell couldn’t they? Any given Sunday. Bama needed a missed pass interference call to beat auburn. Texas lost to Oklahoma. 4 quarters. Best team walks away. If you (and I have zero clues as your qualifications) or anyone else can tell who the better team is without playing what the hell do we have season for? Just let the top four to start year play and call it a day.
That's cool. I get it.
But these decisions aren't made in a vacuum. The quality of the football FSU was putting forth those last few games was just not there. They needed to do more than just win. And they fell short. I don't care how many people are butthurt, sports analysts, FSU's AD and coach, etc when you step back and realize they're weren't taking care of business compared to their competition it falls flat.
I mean, do you really think FSU would even compete against Bama, Michigan, or Texas right now? The Noles barely squeaked by last night. It was a struggle to even make first downs any time the offense was on the field.
That says it all.

I think it’s perfectly acceptable to compare to the quality of wins. If everyone has the same amount of wins… I guess we’re arguing bama and Texas have better losses? It took a miracle for Bama to beat a 6 win Auburn. FSU won everything they had to win and they did. And yeah, I think theyd compete just fine with any of them.
Sorry for the repetitive post.....i just read Willy's comment.
Here's how Michigan fans reacted. They were praying for FSU.
