    Default Ford 3.3 v6

Came across a decent deal on a f150 xlt but it has the 3.3 v6. I'm looking at long term reliability more than speed and towing. I tow mostly small trailers and small boats short distances. What are pros/cons from the peanut gallery?

I put 88K on one and pulled a 18ft Key West each weekend. I had no issues and gas mileage was great. Not the quickest but I had no issues.

3.3? What year did they do that? My '16 is a 3.5. I know in '17 they changed the transmission from a 4-speed(?) to, I think, a 10-speed. My buddy had the newer tranny in a 2017 3.5, basically the same truck, and got significantly better MPG.

It is a naturally aspirated, no turbo chargers, v6. Not sure the year production started but I think it started around 2018-now

I had an Explorer with the 3.5L V6...it had 166k on it when I gave it to my son. He's driving it now. I had zero issues with the motor. It still runs and sounds great and pulls a 19' DC with no problem. I always change the oil every 3,500 to 4,000 miles though.
