Default Two Inches = One Mile

For Christmas, my dad asked this be made into framed print for his office.
    Familiar territory to many here.
    Thought I’d share.

    Excellent.
Do you have a size recommendation? Would like to get “poster size” but not sure if that would turn out distorted.

Use this link. Go to a TPM Graphics, give them the link and they’ll take care of the size you want.

I have a lead on an original colorized one that I want to put on my wall.

The one I have is 18x24 as is very clear. I think it could blown to twice that size and still be clear. I’m thinking that WOB got it for my dad. If so, he may be able to give more details on how to obtain one.

I have one that is very similar myself. Looks like mine is a pencil drawing.

I was thinking that I did. Glad you have it. I can't remember where I got a copy, but I went to the local architect and had him blow it up a little.

Anyone got a digital copy of that picture? I could probably do something cool with it.

Someone with more skills than me could digitally lay that over an aerial photo.

Looking at that map brings back memories. In the day hunted all over that map. I miss those days.

That map isn't as accurate today as it was when it was drawn.

A lot of those "lakes" have been choked wall to wall with hyacinth for 20 years.

Cutgrass has infiltrated the swamp and some runs are choked out.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

You can get a much better and larger colorized edition from JHC's son that is better suitable for framing, but those old sheet maps were the tits. Had several that someone had waxed. Good stuff...

I've hunted most of that map, but every few years they would stack above Pine Island, Snake Creek, and Mill Creek in that tall timber. I've watched them pitch in flocks of 500 at a time. Things got ugly.
