If we lose, we could run it back in the Mayo Bowl.......

How does Clemson have more to lose? They’re bowl eligible for a crap bowl already, one win doesn’t get them into a marginally better bowl. Sakkerliner is not bowl eligible and would have a losing season with a loss.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Shipley has his degree, graduates Magna Cum Laude’ and has a big check waiting in the pros. That wouldn’t be jumping ship, that’s being financially smart.

I heard he's transferring. Who's gonna draft a fumble at the goal line waiting to happen?

I hope Norvell gets him and runs all over Clemson next year

    Smart man.

And did Shipley quit? He's exactly what I thought he was all along if so.....

And yeah, completely agree with HJ, anybody that drafts him needs to be fired immediately......

Clemson can run it and is good at stopping the run which makes this a bad match up for my Gamecocks. Something is going to have to happen on special teams or a turnover or two will have to go their way for Carolina to win. I do think Carolina will score 21 or so points. The tiggers will just score a few more.

    Tigers - 31
    Cocks - 24

It’s not like he has quit playing, he’s finishing the season and heading to the NFL with a degree. Not really sure how that qualifies as a quitter.

Going to the NFL is one thing.

Discussions about transferring to a different university is not finishing what you started. It's leaving your teammates for new teammates in the same game.

Potentially lining up against your teammates is something that I'll never understand.

All we know at this point is he's had enough of the culture and coaching staff. That's obvious.

He told you that because that’s not how I read his comments. He has his eyes focused on the nfl and his interview pretty much confirms that. He right now is projected as the #8 RB taken, which puts him in the 3rd ish round. He won’t improve his stock much coming back and graduated in three years.

Our team doesn't deserve a bowl win or lose on Saturday. Fuck all these 300 bowls anyway. Bowls used to mean something...

    I agree 100%.

Does the new expanded playoff gobble some more of the prestigious bowls up? Surely to God they won't add anymore.

No because last I heard the first round will be played in the college stadiums, meaning some will get home field advantage. But that could have changed.
