    Default 1922 SC Hunting License

My uncle sent off an old family sterlingworth to get some work done. The gun lived at the family plantation, Arundel. At one point the LaBruces owned the Guandalos Rice Company (Springfield, Arundel, Birdfield, Endfield, Guandalos and Exchange Plantations).

This was found under the butt plate today while taking it apart. Cant imagine the things that gun has seen.

That’s pretty freaking cool! I worked at Arundel for a short time! I bet that gun has seen it’s fair share of Wood Ducks and Mallards!

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

    That is pretty neat.

CPI Inflation Calculator says $3.10 in June 1922 has the same buying power as $56.64 in June 2023.

I think I’d have to frame that if it was from my family history.

That is a cool find and a heck of a way to find it. Glad you showed us…

A buddy of mine showed me this. It belonged to his grandfather.

    Very Cool
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Got a couple of those pin licenses. Think they were actually called “pin backs”’with your paper license going in an indented place on the reverse side. Kinda rare.
