    Default Coyote workshop

    https://www.dnr.sc.gov/wildlife/coyote/control.html

I learned a bunch from this last year. It's worth the $115 just for the food. Steaks cooked to order the first night. Home cooked breakfast and fried chicken with all the trimming for lunch.

I'm planning on going again this year. Last year I was so new at trapping I didn't even know what questions to ask so I figured I would learn even more this year. Hope to see some of y'all there.

Hey saltmuck introduce yourself at the workshop. I'll be the extremely good looking fellow with the long white beard.

Change of plans, had paroneal tendon surgery last week on my foot so I’m laid up. Maybe next year.

that's what you get for pretending to be young.

we had a fella that played old man soccer with me tore a hamstring trying to stretch a double into a triple playing kickball with his work.

I ran a trap line last year.. only caught a few coons and someone’s pet dog. Might give it a try again this year.

Have to look back but think I was over about 20 plus coons and opossums, 3 coyotes and a buzzard. A lot of pulled trappers with fur on them. Check pan tension this year before putting them out and almost every trap I had was set with a pound or less fixed that so hope I connect on a few more.

Partially tore my Achilles tendon last year. Was pulling a trap out of the ground and was before I had the drill bit to drill down and pull it out…. Pulling up and pop. Right before heading to Arkansas on a hunting trip. Still went, hunted, finished trapping season, was playing basketball and running in about a month after.
