    Default Chester area deer processors?

Anybody got a lead on good deer processors near Chester? Preferably in the Chester to Carlisle corridor, or on the Columbia side. I travel from Lexington to the Chester area to hunt, so anywhere along that corridor or near it would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

Backwoods is just north of Chester. Mike Beam is south of Chester.

There is a new processor opening up in Blackstock, SC. They have built a new building beside the old store. It was not open yet but i think opening soon as they get their permits. I think permits have been an unexpected holdup. DHEC has shut down most of the processors in our area. Used to be another over off Leeds road. Estill i think was his name but i dont know if he is still open, he was an older man.

Backwoods bud you will be doing a little backtracking. There is an old guy somewhere near Carlisle that I have had people tell me about but I’m not sure where he is.

    What part of Chester?

Mike Beam is god awful now. There is a new one on south side of Chester that I have written down at farm that we used last year I'll get this weekend. We are in Blackstock and a 10 minute drive from fish camp to the one I'm talking about.

This is my neck of the woods. I’m on Cornwell Road and go to Mike Beam because he’s like 7 minutes at the most but where is the new one? Not to mention Mike has that Pit Bull that’s scary as shit. Please reply about the new place. I would love to switch. Backwoods is pretty good but at least 20-25 minutes from me because they are north of the town.

Thanks guys... I'll check Backwoods for now and look for something more along my route as I go. The property is off 72 between Chester and Carlisle. My route from home (Lexington) is up through Peak and over to 215, north to 72. If I go from work, it's straight up 215.

I know a guy who saw Mikes girlfriends titties, smoked a doobie with Whoop, and bought Zoom bubblegum floating worms all in the same night. If DHec has permits, I’m not sure he has a detailed file

Now that’s funny. Great memories by the old barrel fire. It’s not the same anymore. People don’t really hang out there. It might because he has that damn pit bull roaming around looking like he’s about to eat your hand at any moment. Wonder if Whoop is still alive?
