It’s such a maddening shit show in there that I can’t really blame them. I think there are a few good, principled men and women in there that have to be at their wits ends trying to sort shit out every moment of every day…has to be similar to the old Lucy-on-the-chocolate-line episode on steroids every day. Rand Paul is a fine example. At some point…I just can’t blame someone for simply filtering out all the what-if bs and simply doing what is the obvious, right thing to do. I’m not sure why the republicans fight among themselves like they do, but if I had to try and define it, I would say that it’s the gap between conservative and not really conservative republicans.
