I am sure he will be replaced by another real winner...

One thing you have to admire about democrats, they stick together even when they know it's a hopeless situation.

Republicans will roll one of their own at the drop of a hat. I don't know if it's right or wrong but it's not a good look. They need to get on the same page.

Dumbasses. I'm not saying they shouldn't vote McCarthy out, but they damn sure should have had a replacement ready with votes to get in. Dumbasses.

And there in lies the rub. There are many Rinos still happy to spend to oblivion and say they’re co promising or whatever. The Dems rarely seem to give an inch and remain unified. In other situations like this Pelosi and Schumer are holding press conferences and calling Republicans the devils incarnation. I don’t watch much news but no consolidated position from Republicans then they vote our speaker out. Dumbassery at best.

Might be true, but I’ll take the dog with drive over the dog that lays around and “thinks about it” while he gets fat on the porch. It’s such a maddening shit show in there that I can’t really blame them. I think there are a few good, principled men and women in there that have to be at their wits ends trying to sort shit out every moment of every day…has to be similar to the old Lucy-on-the-chocolate-line episode on steroids every day. Rand Paul is a fine example. At some point…I just can’t blame someone for simply filtering out all the what-if bs and simply doing what is the obvious, right thing to do. Eat the freakin’ elephant one bite at a time. I have no idea where this will lead or if it will result in a single good thing, but let me feel good about them doing something, anything that at least seems to be a reflection of what the people want. Fuggin pitiful that it’s come to that, but let me have this fleeting, tiny moment before we talk about what a fuck-up it was.

Ehh, they’ll elect another one and 3 months down the road it’ll all be forgotten. 2fer, the GOP’s been covered in shit so long, no one will notice another stain in the long run.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’m not sure why the republicans fight among themselves like they do, but if I had to try and define it, I would say that it’s the gap between conservative and not really conservative republicans.

Consider for a moment that we’ve got a guy like Lindsey Graham, who’s wrong about half the time, and who’s been in office since before I was born. I promise you, I would fight with that guy.
