Looking at buying the Danner Sharptail Rear Zip 10”. Pros and cons on these boots? Also, how true is the sizing? Some reviews are saying they run really small, just wanted to see if any of yall have a pair. Thanks

Buy a half size up

I wear an 11 on the lace up sharptail and 11.5 for the pull on.

Mine always had a reasonable lifespan on the waterproofing, I would oil them fairly regularly

Mine never lasted longer than 1 year or so, but I wore them everyday… for the money I think they’re good boots.

I don’t know about the zip-up Sharptails, but the current version of both the Sharptail boot and snake boot run about 1/2 size shorter than the older version boot that I’ve had for years.

The stitching on top of the toe is starting to come undone on mine. To be fair I haven't taken very good care of them, and they've lasted around 4yrs with a lot of miles on them. They won't be waterproof for long.
