    Default Drones

    Teach me
I want one and don't know much about them,
Just for goofing around on the boat or in the field/marsh and recording.
Don't mind buying a used one, don't need the best and don't want junk either.
    Budget to $500
I have been watching Youtube videos and like the DJI Phantom 3 type..........I think

I’ve only owned one so I do not have much experience outside of the one I have. It’s a DJI mini 2, I bought it with the same intentions as you and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I found one on marketplace with a fly more package (extra batteries and bigger charging bank). Very easily in your budget, I paid less than $300. Biggest thing with buying second hand is making sure it isn’t stolen or have been crashed. Also if it is less than 249 grams you do not have to register it with FAA.

I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro and love it. I got it to mess around on the hunt club and maybe start dabbling in making some training stuff at work and YouTube content (I have my FAA Part 107 Certification).

Prices on Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro units should be dropping since they are about to introduce the Mini 4 series.

I took it to Ireland and had a ball (had to get my Ireland drone operator stuff done online). Shoots 4K video, stable as a rock, folds up tiny. Decent range, but much better in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. Of course, ya gotta keep "line of sight" on it.

    Thanks for the responses
I see the ones that have the GPS function and return home when battery drops to a certain level
or when they reach the limit of their signal range

    DJ Mini 3 Pro.

Caught it on sale at Best Buy around Christmas last year and got the extra batteries, propellers, etc for just a touch over $400.

Check with the guy that lives around the corner from Duct Tape at the lake. He is a pro.....a pro voyeur!

But I'll give it to him. The man gets run over by a golf cart and has his back broke over his drone, has it confiscated by the cops, returned then destroyed, by irate man.

He buys a bigger one, a whole lot bigger. I dont know if you need a license at some point to fly a certain size but he has to be approaching that size.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

    $429
    Best price I have seen
I was looking at the Pro model
They carry it too and it comes with a "fly more" bundle but over $800
not sure if I need all the bundle stuff
May just snatch this one up and buy an extra battery and some spare blades
