Was slow but scratched out 12. How my dog didn’t get bit I still don’t know but he didn’t and that big snake is in hell where he belongs.

    Awesome pictures.

Was in NC for opener with cousins. Great shoot.

Highlight was my nephew finishing off cripples with a red ryder.

    60degrees and plenty of birds.

Went 0 for 1, and shouldn't have pulled the trigger then. Had a good time, though...

Killed 5 at a public field. If I'd practiced shooting clays beforehand I would have had more. Can't tell you how many I clipped and someone else killed. I shot all 50 shells

The field was fantastic. Non stop shooting and birds everywhere. I had a great time.

Crowd wasn't too bad, everyone kept respectful distance, and not a single low bird was shot at.

    5/50?

I think I would have kept that to myself.

Figured I'd give you fellas something to laugh about. I had a great time and that's what dove opener is for.

I killed my 5 with my last 20 shells. So I got better as the day went on.

At least I don't need a pile of corn to kill a deer. Now that's embarrassing.

I missed my first bird in a friend's field.. within thirty seconds of saying "you know what, I don't think I've missed a bird in this field". My friends laughed.. I did too

I'm beginning to patty burgers for our opener, watching birds and enjoying the peaceful river until it's loaded with guys with hooked hulls and radios in jonboats blaring s*** Country or rap.

Glad the dog didn’t get bit. My coworker wasn’t so lucky yesterday. As he was reaching down for a bird he said his had was knocked back to his body. Then he saw the rattlesnake. It ended up being a 5’ canebrake with 9 rattles. Got to spend the night at the hospital. As of this morning he felt like he would get released sometime today.

I got seven and my son shot nine. Beautiful weather and a great day. Solid BBQ at lunch time. A couple limits were taken.

Bear, I wish your buddy well and I hope his recovery goes good.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Enough birds to shoot again Monday and sunflowers haven’t hardly dropped any seeds yet so we should have several more shoots

1st time in few years now that Dad and I shot the same field on opening day so we had a good time.

These photos were taken 27yrs apart today

Just a question. Dad is holding the gun right handed 27 years ago but holding a left handed gun today?

Y'all did good...well, except for Jimmy. My club went belly up last season and that was my only place to shoot, so I haven't shot birds in a while.

I just want to know how Sportin got all his kids together for a picture. LOL
