    Default Shipping an Outboard

I found a 300hp Yamaha I'm interested in, it's a little north of Orlando. Shipping seems like the obvious choice over a 20 hour round trip pulling a trailer with a truck.

Is a regular hotshot shipping service the best way to go? Anyone have suggestions?

Is it crated or on a pallet?

Would likely be on a pallet.

If ask the seller to take a deposit, or some extra money to meet you half way. Should fit in a truck bed without a trailer.

I've got a camper shell I don't feel like taking off, 3 kids, and it's about to be hunting season. Time is at a premium, unfortunately.

    Do folks still use Uship?

I've moved boats, motors, etc in the past and never had an issue.
