They have been straight chomping in the back yard on these tides. One dude ever fishes for them, and it ain't me. Give me a trout any day...

With the clean water the sight fishing has been outstanding and now is the time to get out there. Fish are happy and shallow.
We stopped and watched a few dozen 30ish inch fish back and tail as they smoked shrimp in a few inches of water the other day before casting to them. Unfortunately I don’t think I can do videos here.

It’s good all around but when the fronts/barometric line up it’s downright silly.

Trout bite has been great and we are typically getting multiple 20+” fish as bycatch, haven’t had anyone want to target them lately.

It's been over a month since I fished the grass just haven't been able to get out there. But, I fished eastern North Carolina a couple of weeks ago and we had an outstanding day on the trout then doubled down on it Monday here in Beaufort County with our biggest being 26 in and 6 lb! Hands down the biggest trout I've ever put my hands on anywhere in speckled trout country.

I'm going soon and really ready to get out there. Guess I'm going to wait on this cold front to settle out but I'm ready to go catch a rockfish!
