Default Go to for gun value

I have a few rifles that I don't use that I'm looking to sell. Where can I find the value of them?

I have used gunbroker in the past for normal guns. Armslist has more idiots pricing guns now then before.

    Real world value?

I'd go to GunBroker and advance search ended auctions; average the sale of sold items in similar condition (and obviously toss any strange outliers).

But to actually respond to the question, gunbroker is a really good gauge to get a ballpark idea. Assuming your rights isn't a unicorn and there's a good solid sample size to compare to, as USMC said, you should be able to get a good bell shaped curve of what kinda figures guns like yours are going for.

Put them on here for sale. If they are sold within the first 15 minutes too cheap. If they last for months overpriced.

Of course, another idea would be just to make a post that reads: "Put a value on these firearms" and let us know what you've got...

You will get some real world values, and after you ditch the outliers (again) you'll get an honest assessment. I'm sure you'll also get PMs to purchase some (or all) of the weapons, in question.

Ok, so what is the value of a Sako Finnlight Stainless 7mm-08 with a Boyd stock replacement and a Swarovski Z6 2-12x50?

Not sure but want a chance at it when you figure out the price. Should be a shooter.

If you decide to sell, I'd be interested in just the rifle and new stock. I've already got several Swarovski, even though that one's a very fine scope.

I mean it looks like those rifles sell new on gun broker for 1400-2000. Depending on caliber. The boys stock prob isn't an upgrade. Do you have the original?

    Your scope new is 2k

The scope has probably decreased in value and may not be what someone wants in their gun so you can't expect to get 2k added on your rifle in a package deal.

I think 1200 or so for the gun and 1200for the scope. So 2400 sounds like a fair price. I could be wrong but I only looked for about 60 secs soo..

    Snake Jenkins may can help.

I used to use the Blue Book of Gun Values but I just use Gun Broker now.

That's how I know that old Remington 760's are apparently worth more than I want to spend...

Only thing to add to looking at completed sells on GB is to realize market size. Aka national market can get you more than local a lot of times. So price accordingly.

    Nice rifle
