Northern Red or Black Oak from what I can tell on my phone. I'm not a tree expert so I'm sure I'm wrong.

Northern Red pictured like previously mentioned. A Southern Red will have a bell shape at base of leaf.

Bingo , when I took dendrology at NCSU my professor always said look at the base of the leaf if it’s pointed then it’s in the red oak family if the base is rounded like the “southern bell” then it’s a southern red oak. Both are high in tanons (sp) so deer don’t prefer them. Coolest oak I have ever found was on a tract I used to hunt in Columbia it had a grove of three huge swamp chestnut oaks and trust me you don’t want to be under it when the acorns are fallling

That is a shumard oak. In the red oak family. Hunt it if you can when the acorns drop or better yet late season when some of the acorns are still on the ground. Post the kill pic.

A friend calls that "jokey oak". Being used to splitting live oak, they bucked up some of that and it split so easily they gave it that name. It makes you feel like a lumberjack when you can hit it once and two pieces fly off the chopping block.

This is kinda what I thought. It’s down in a creek bottom that floods regularly and it drops really late every year. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another that I can remember in Chester county

My mom has a few in her yard. They take forever to shed their leaves.
