    Default Ideas

This past spring I went on a combination bear/turkey hunt. I don't care to ever shoot another bear, but I did enjoy being able to hunt two different animals on the same hunt.

I would like to do something similar next spring.any suggestions? Turkeys are a must and I prefer some place where they turn me loose to hunt on my own in the morning to chase turkeys. Afternoons are flexible as far as DIY or guided.depending on what it is I'm hunting. Any suggestions are appreciated. Budget would be around $5000.

Thanks for the helpful and smartass replies in advance

Not much else you can hunt in the spring.

Argentina or Africa (but no turkeys). You can do birds and big game.

Thanks guys. None of those ideas really excite me so guess I'll hunt turkeys in the morning and afternoons. Life's tough sometimes

How was the turkey/bear combo hunt? I've thought about doing that myself.

Sure you can, their turkey's are just a whole lot larger than ours.

maybe a pheasant or upland bird combo, i know the season for wild birds will be over in spring but most shooting preserves have a longer season, they will be pen raised birds but i think most of the enjoyment comes from watching the dogs work
