    Default What’s it worth?

Toying with the idea of selling my 1994 40 hp Yamaha short shaft. No tilt or trim or elec. start.

120 on all 3 cylinders, and just gone through completely with a clean bill of health.

I would be selling everything I have related to the motor: bobs tilt and trim, set of 50 carbs, etc.

    Not sure where to start.

    thanks in advance

I'd say $2,500 to $3,000 depending upon what all you sell with the motor

I'd tack an extra five hundo on what everyone is saying and give it a couple weeks before dropping the price. A young buck with a squatted truck is likely to jump on it before you get the chance to lower the asking price.

2 strokes are going for what they were 3-4 years ago unfortunately. They squatted truck crowd is all about 4 strokes now, especially 90-115s.

There might be some Peedee people wanting to use it on a fast craft though.

    Bump.

Someone on here messaged me about this motor, and I accidentally deleted the message, it will be for sale soon…want to give them first right of refusal.
