Nobody mentioned them as nest raiders. Just possums, coons, and snakes.

Someone also asked about hogs eating nest eggs and they said that's very uncommon. Not that they won't eat a nest of eggs but hens know better than to lay nests in the swamps where hogs live. Mostly due to flooding but also because they know common egg eaters like snakes and coons live there.

Who told you a hen will not nest in the swamp because Hogs are there.....

That isn't what I said they said. They said hens typically avoid low lying areas because of flooding and population of coons and snakes in that area.

It’s bad around here fellas. Houses on top of houses and 100dreds of acres that were prime habitat being turned into warehouses as I type this.
