While they are nasty in the sense, I've never smelled a hog that was "nasty".

boar hogs have a very unique scent. It is not a good scent. I can even smell it when someone cooks sausage made with a boar.

maybe i'm the only one....but i damn sure earned my disdain for that critter. trust me on that.

I killed a shoat boar. Nuts hadnt really dropped yet. Thought he would be ok on the weber.

I didnt even break the guts up and I could smell him.

Two boar, killed last weekend. Maybe I haven't gotten a hold of the right one. I'm not gonna eat one though. I find a rutting buck more repulsive.

Had this guy showing up at dark & early in the morning past couple days. He came out about 7 on the camera this morning & 715 he was dead. Heavy bastard.

You aint the only one! I hope when the novelty of killing a pig wears off all y'all will learn to shoot them in the guts and let them run off. Aint no way in hell I loading up a hog, taking pics, or processing!!
