We used to slip in there when was in my early 20s, drop I'm at iop.. caught my first channel bass in Charleston right where you're talking.. probably 25 years ago. My friend who's only poetic about fishing looked at me kinda funny when I threw him in the cooler.. I was like man they stock these things here.

Yep, house was still smoking Sunday when I put pontoon in at IOP Marina.

    One report was lighting strike

Funny thing is, been coming to IOP so long I can recall when they could not give Goat Island land away. Some nice places over there now

In fact had someone in my office that had vacation there last summer with their teenagers and loved it Teenagers thought it was cool

I think he is hooked now, we made a day trip to Capers and he got on BIL’s boat and fished all day Our 2 nephews taught him how to cast spinning rod and took a lot of time with him. (I am the one that got both of them into hunting and fishing and great to see them passing it on. Fine young men, both are FT Firemen in Greenville City and Taylors ). He ended up catching a trout, several whiting and couple baby sharks.
