Well you should stop by. I'm calling it a night. Think we may hit the locks tomorrow.
We will be cleaning fish for a solid hour plus first thing. I've caught a few bream at night, but nothing ever like tonight. Craziest thing I've ever seen. Good size too. Average a normal mans hand. Usually it's perch, and we just use a cast net, but these were hitting for the kids and we just let them go. They finally gave up they were tired of catching them by 1. I left it with some of the neighbors and called it bout 5 min ago. Blues are all in the shallows chasing the bream. No freshwater grouper tonight. Not even a channel cat, all blues
Good stuff for the kids, and got to use some of the big rock lingo around my neighbors. I told them I learned it on the radio the other day, but at the end of the day Tooth's split shot was king. No cork, just may flies. about 16" deep lead about 13" before it floats down it was pulling.
Yup, he's crazy...
like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.
