Great season Michael. Congrats to AM.

I can't wait to see Wes get some trigger time. Proud of you for teaching them " something of value"

He’s close, my friend. He has become the enforcer during egg eater trapping season. May give him a shot next spring.

Good stuff all around. I bought a KT call and befriended him on facebook before season. All I can say is if I was a turkey, I would not want him hunting me. Ol boy is rough on them.

Learning to play a trumpet is a game changer. I’m terrible on one, and even my shitty sounds positively influence turkeys. It’s a damn weapon, for sure. Rickaaaaay is putting out some gorgeous trumpets that are easy to play, and fine looking. I am trying to get better and will be by next season. Hens, especially, are drawn to it.

I sat in Zack Farmers den awhile back and listened to him call on a trumpet for several minutes. I just sat in awe at how “turkey” it sounded. In the hands of someone that has mastered the skill of a trumpet, there is NO other call that can come close to mimicking the sounds of a real hen as the trumpet does.

Cajun Reeboks. They are quite comfortable. I wore them in the western mountains in 2022 before Double N talked me into buying some hiking thingies (which are awesome FYI).
