    Default Bobcat zero turn

Anyone have one? Cons? Im looking at Zt2000 52" with the kawasaki engine. Ive looked at scag liberty z, deere, ariens all in same price range and looks like the Bobcat is the best buy for what you get. First zero turn, but im tired of spending 4 hours cutting grass. 0% for 60 months 3 year 500hour warranty. Dealer 5 minutes from house.

One of my landscapers switched to them a few years ago. He’s had zero issues.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I had one and didn’t have any complaints. Except I should have went ahead and jumped to a larger deck due to the size of my yard when I initially bought it. Wouldn’t have sold it and upgraded to a larger true commercial mower.

I dont see any reason to buy anything but the biggest deck if you dont have a gate to get through.

someone can correct my way of thinking though.

Uneven ground, ditches, swales, etc. All of which I have. Anything over 60" is more likely to scalp bad. I got a 52" and it does a broken 3-5 acres in good time.

I bought the widest deck that would fit on my trailer. Gotta keep in mind hauling it in for service or repairs.

Floating deck on anything 60” or above will take care of that

I wouldn’t hesistate to buy that. I had a Bunton, which is basically the same mower. One of the best ones we ever owned and we ran pretty much every brand at one time or another

Get into the goat farming business. There will be no lawn to worry over.

I'm pretty confident he brags to his friends about the guy his daughter married.

You made the right choice since the dealer is 5 mins. away. That means alot and the BOBCAT brand has been around along time.

They are bigger than you think when you park it. A 52 inch is plenty. That 4 hour job will now be 1 hour.

He has bought crappy lowes mowers for years and has never really bought anything nice or new for himself. He cuts about 3 acres. We went to visit my mother in law on Mother’s Day and he told me he was gonna need another mower. I told him I would just come and cut his grass for him since he’s 78 years old. But since my mother in law has been sick for 3 years now and pretty much can’t leave the house he told me about the only thing he enjoyed getting out and doing was cutting his grass. Hard to argue with that. He told me he picked out a Troy built for $4,000 from Lowe’s. I left that day and told my wife that I’m gonna save him from himself and buy him a decent mower. Gave it to him last week as an early Father’s Day present. He said “damn that thing is ugly, but I love it”. He’s old school and about as country as a cat head biscuit and ain’t too hard to please.

As most of y’all with aging in laws know, their problems become your problems. Especially if you married their only child. God has blessed me so much over the years and they blessed me with their daughter. I figured it was the least I could do.

Enough of the sappy touchy feely stuff. Here’s a pic of the old fart when he got it. He’s about 6’6 and all legs and it fit him pretty well
