    Default Memorial Day Cooking

    And so it begins….

First round is for my employees and couple friends.

Second round starts around 1400. That’s mine and some buddies.

    He’s kinda prissy that way.

Clean grill. Organized shop. It’s weird.

Just about falling off the bone!!

Edit to add process so anyone else want to post that up would be helpful for future reference.

Soaked them in apple juice for 12 hours.
Rubbed and wrapped with mustard and dry rub for 12 hours.
Smoked for 3 hours bone side down @ 225.
Wrapped in tin with 1/2 stick of butter @ 225 for an hour.
Sauced them and back on for 45 min at 325.

Just for the family. I use an ugly drum smoker that I built about five years ago. Makes the best bbq I've ever had.

No pictures. Smoked Boston Butt on Saturday and grilled redfish on Sunday. Both were delicious

No pics, but we had baby backs, corn on the cob, baked beans, slaw and mixed fruit. Getting ready for some strawberry pie for desert.
