I think it sucks for fishing. Turkeys gonna turkey.
Personally I don’t know how any survive but they do.

I thought guineas were the dumbest birds the way some of them died, then I tried raising turkeys. It’s a stiff competition between them. However, both of them find a way to survive as a species. And they both know whether they are hens or roosters (toms). Guess that’s why they survive.

At least the amount of rain in the forecast for my area has got cut in half the last 24 hours. But I had the same thought about poults when I saw the forecast the other day. Wife wants to build a fire on the porch this afternoon. That’ll be a first for Memorial Day weekend

I just said the same thing, never been cold in May before. Back on topic, beer should be stolen when cold. Not luke warm. Carry on.

Just saw a hen with 1/2 dozen or so poults about 10” tall, bugging in a field. They seems to be doing fine.
