So, if a fella throws a cast net on a large culvert pipe that feeds into the river and catches (5) 2lb bass, he's not supposed to keep them?

    Asking for a friend.

I'd much rather eat a crappie or a redbreast..

I have eaten enough SNITs to feed Vietnam for a year.

If you don’t believe sustenance fishing still takes place in SC, you haven’t seen much of rural SC.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Sure people fish for food. Would they starve without the fish they caught under the bridge? Probably not. Most have a bag of snacks, cigs, and a cold drink or two they picked up at the gas station on their way to “sustenance” fish. If you can afford a pack of cigs you aren’t fishing to keep from starving.

This is true. Plus those in overtly would much rather spend their stolen money on meth.

Don’t forget they all drive to the bridge to fish. I can ride down to a hotspot for bridge fishing and take a picture of the trash these fuckers leave behind while they’re trying to “survive”.
