This commentary from Paul, and your assessment of it, is quite damning to my affinity for Clemson football. After review, I believe I will no longer take any rooting interest. I appreciate the two of you collaborating to open my eyes.

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
still your daddy
he doesnt have a team. he's just a rabble rouser...
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Thinking about one of those shades that rigs up to the outriggers. Sure would make fishing in August more bearable.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013

I don't understand the assumption that Clemson wouldn't succeed in the SEC.
Going to the SEC gives Clemson the only legs up that they actually need:
1. SEC Money
2. SEC marketing (recruiting)
3. SEC games where Clemson can show the world what they've already shown them over the past 10yrs... We're competitive and we have been for quite some time.
The question is: What does Clemson bring to the SEC?
The answer: Everything that little brother in Cola brings, but you'll get competition and an established trophy case that you don't already have given little brother's entire history as a program.
The question I would ask myself if I were an SEC executive: Do we need anymore competition or does adding it hurt our performance down the line?
