Default Favorite 20 gauge for fun

My wife wants to get me a present for my 45th birthday next Sunday. I’m not a huge gun guy or dove hunter but like guns of course. I mostly hunt deer and turkey but doves some of course. I don’t have a 20 gauge or an amazing gun collection but would kind of like a 20 gauge for fun. What should she get me? I have all the guns I need but of course would like to add another one for fun.

Should have said price doesn’t really matter but of course I would rather spend less than more but will splurge for a lifelong gun to add to my collection if it makes sense.

As far as classic 20’s go, an 1100 or auto 5

I’ve got the hunter model of this, I’ve started shooting a SXS a lot more these days. Also have a Citori Superlight in 20 with 24” barrels, under 6# and incredibly fast to the shoulder.

Oh and for an auto, A400.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Better question. Your wife have a sister? Asking for me. Hard to say on gun without seeing what fits you. Having a gun fit will make a huge difference in shooting ability.

You can't go wrong with any of the suggestions above. All I shoot is 20's now except for turkeys.

The 20 Superposed are about as nice a gun as I have ever used. I buy just about every one I come across. A better dove gun has not been made.

    Ditch the 20 and get a 28

I’m weird. The older I get the more I grab my 870 wing master. I would probably enjoy an OU but don’t own one. That would probably be my pick.
