2016-2021 Tacoma fuel mileage

For those of you that have a Tacoma 4wd crew with the v6, what kind of fuel mileage are you seeing on the highway? I’m thinking heavily on finding one for my everyday truck. Roughly 80-100 miles per day to and from work.

4wd crew expect 14-16

Stock with stock tires? 18-21 is what I saw. Better if traveling back roads 60mph or so. 1 2017,and 2 different 21’s. All Trd OR 4door 4wd. One 21 was a long bed. Lifted the 17 2-3 inches and it was not happy with the 32’s. Truck would not shift into 6th gear with the cruise set. Had a dude tune my 21 LB with what’s called O.V. tune and truck was more responsive and had a little better shift strategy. They act like they lack power, but the reality is they just want to be rung out to get it.

10-12mpg, but it aint exactly stock.

I had one. It honestly didn’t get much better fuel mileage than the full size V8 truck I drive now.

I’m looking for stock numbers. I keep getting different numbers from people. Some say 14-16 and others are saying 19-20. I mean that’s quite a bit of difference.

Maybe 19-20 on the highway traveling the speed limit bone stock. Agree with 14 - 16 on average. I've had four tacomas in that year range. All 4wd, typically TRDs.
