    Default Club or Shared Lease

Looking for a spot with deer for bow hunting and a twice-a-season guest to rifle hunt. Willing to pay $1,500 - $2,500 annually. Horry, Marion, Georgetown, Florence, or Williamsburg Counties. Willing to drive up to two hours from the Calabash/Little River area.

IDC about ducks or turkeys; if you just have a deer membership, that would be fine. Ideally, I'd love to pay one of you landowners/lease holders annually rather than join a big club.

If you have an opening and are looking for the right fit, please PM me. I'd be more than happy to speak over the phone, meet for lunch, provide references, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

How’s the hunting been out there? I killed my first buck on the property next door to the Archery Club and my second buck came off the property on the left at the end of South Island.

Implementation of a 16in inside has cut the #s down, this will be 3rd year so I'm expecting better results. Deer #s seem to be improving. Caretaker is clear cutting now, use to only thin. If your looking for deer #s, wrong club to join. If you want a great club and fellowship, it's a good one. We eat up with turkeys and hogs.

    I would be very cautious.

. That property is a thick big bay that floods with very limited access and the fella leasing it is sketchy at best with details.

There is no about. Its been up for lease for at least 4-5 years. I looked at it a few years ago. Not alot a game and the guy talked in circles. My take was you lease it and improve it so he can hunt it.

That's exactly what my buddy told me. He said the guy wants you to plant and make new food plots and cut new roads through the property and talked in circles when asked about how the deer hunting was. He said it sounded like the guy wants someone to improve the property so he can take the lease and hunt it himself the next year.

That guy has or has had several tracts of land around that area listed. I talked with him about a tract a few years ago, not about leasing it, but about the food plots he had pictures of. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about the plots. He says he "deals" with Grandpa Ray.

Those trcts change hands every year. Hes a landscaper, so he ought to be able to grow a pea patch.
