I've been daily driving this one for a couple weeks while my new truck is in the shop from hitting a deer. They don't make them like they used to.
I had a 1998 painted in bottomland we used in Arkansas. It was a tank. The front bracket on the drivers seat broke, it was like riding down the road in a lazy boy that rocked. Sold it with the last place since the transmission was slipping. It had character though.

I hope they’ve done some engine modifications. 90-2000’s we’re bulletproof. They’d changed a bit. My FIL and BIL only run tacomas and they both had huge engine failures (can’t remember exactly what it was, but same thing for both, requiring a rebuild). My wife’s cousin works for a yota dealer’s shop and he says don’t buy one built after 2015.

How do you “run” a truck?
