    Default CMC PT-35 issue

Replaced the sea choice trim switch bc the buttons were ripped off. Went ahead and replaced the winch contactor (RFI brand), with another brand bc it was old. Hooked everything up and all that happens when I press the switch buttons is clicking from the contactor.

Replaced the pos and neg wires running from battery to contactor to insure good connectivity, also replace the connectors on the trim unit that connect to the contactor.

Contactor still continues to click. Any ideas?

Throw that POS away and bolt the motor to the transom. Problem solved.

Yeah I think it’s the motor that’s shot. I’ll probably just leave it on there for now since it’s in the down position.

I pulled the actuator, sold it to a kid in Arkansas that wanted to rebuild it for $75, and use the plates as a kick-up plate now. That thing was nothing but headaches for me.
