    The original Bertram 31 (Hull #1) being trailered through the streets of New York City en route to the 1961 NYC boat show! By a VOLVO sedan no less!! The would end up building 1,860 Moppies over 16 years. Legend. MG

    That’s very cool!
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Curious. I’ve seen that name Moppie for so long, I never considered what it meant.

    Could it mean “small girl”?

    Grew up fishing one of those...absolutely incredible machine.

    "Moppie" was Dick Bertram's wife's nickname.
