Sportin’ Life didn’t release a Carolina Slam – releasing a blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish in a single day – like they did Friday in the Bohicket Marina Invitational Billfish Tournament. But the Sportin’ Life crew did even better Saturday, May 13, to earn the top spot in the season-opening event in the South Carolina Governor’s Cup Billfishing Series.

Sportin’ Life, owned by Graham Eubank and captained by Mike Glaesner, piled up 2,000 release points Saturday by releasing three blue marlin and a sailfish and finished the two days of fishing with an impressive 3,700 release points. Altogether, Sportin’ Life released five blue marlin, one white marlin and two sailfish over the two days of fishing.

    That crew never disappoints.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Glaes is the real deal
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

And of course, backing a boat into a slip is complete sorcery and anyone who can do it is either a hero or a menace.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
