Dang Drwilly. How could you forget?

Jimmy is an engineer from Ohio or some other yankee place.

    Yea, totally a yank.

Oh I'm also a socialist, which is odd because I'm vehemently against all forms of income and property tax. Someone called me a socialist one time, I forget who, because I said I believe WMA and private land hunting seasons should be the same dates.

Put your hands down. You're just bragging now.

Dont hunt any timber. I think the bark in calls draws attention in those situations. Personally, I have always chased calls with lots of rattle in them or a deep nasally sounding hen. Due to hunting big wide open areas, those are the calls that seem to work the best, a cutdown doesn't have that drawing power. Have a 2004 shortbarrel that just had that raunchy nasally duck in it (retired), surprisingly I hunted a Ph2 for a long time that flat out had that deep nasally tone (retired), a true lares hybrid and T1 are REALLY hard to beat (retired), been through a pile of echos and only have 3 today that just are a bit different than any others I had ever blown and every so often put them back on the lanyard, but have moved onto the RM calls. Stump is a good dude, has a hard working mentality around a small business and develops all of his own toneboards without copying any other company. Doesn't create buzz to try and sell calls and lets his calls do all the work for him. Better yet, his calls just have that rattle and hold that I really really like in a call. The FTM is by far my favorite, and I go back and forth between his 410 and Big truck. So the cool kids can keep their cutdowns, I will gladly keep using what the birds like in my area.

Duck trumpets and numbered waders are the next big thing. Cutdowns are so played.

Welcome Flashman. If you have thin skin, you should delete your account immediately. Otherwise, this is a great place to talk Clemson/Carolina, politics, current events and occasionally hunting. It’s an entertaining place and most everyone is good folks. Most newcomers, like yourself, offer up a “gift” to the rest of us by sharing the GPS coordinates of their favorite hunting and fishing spots. Thanks in advance.

Ive seen his whistles, never got my hands on one. I still run a C&S whistle that is as deadly as any other imo. Who did he pair with to make the whistle?

I can send you a GPS of my fav hunting spot. Landowner has only let us hunt the property for the last 15 years.... Not too sure what good it will do you all. I do not have thin skin and love the gag sticky they kept putting up. It wasn't until I ran with it myself, that it was finally taken down. Happy to be here but nowhere near the carolinas. Just cruising around on a different forum. Spent a little time here reading and seeing people's outlooks before making my first post. Seem likes my kind of people in this forum. Thanks for having me.

New Mexico but there are no ducks in the dessert. Cant carry them all, so some have to sit on the shelf. But I sure love to walk into the man cave and admire generations of calls and designs.

No way I’m carrying all these. Some go into retirement lol. Never been into selling calls but I love collecting. If I find the right person or kiddo, I’ll sell one or give one away. Not sure what I’ll do with the collection myself when it comes time. But have always enjoyed collecting and periodically trading.

You need to rotate your Avatar upside down, I think that's getting them started.

I didn’t know any of you empanada lickers followed me back here. Don’t get your hopes up of doing here, what you did there. In terms of eating good messican food OR killing ducks.

Favorite Green Chile burger? Favorite enchiladas?

And those New Eras you’ve got in that case are about the best unknown calls out there.

Man and other animals were first vegetarians; then Noah and his sons were given permission to eat meat: “every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” Genesis 9:3

Feel like I may have know you before in another life. I am still in the state. Just cruising around and liked what I saw here. Fav Green chili burger comes off my grill. But blakes isn't too shabby. Not huge on enchiladas, never have been. I guess tomasitas makes an ok one.

Greg is a good dude. they havent seen my lanyard in quite some time though.

As far as killing ducks... as I mentioned before, there are no ducks in the dessert. I call myself a duck hunter, but really I just watch a bunch of videos and act like I know what I am talking about. I have a plethra of calls, but sound like a kazoo on all of them.
