Friend had one with ac/heat. Ass end was light enough you could lift it up. It did not replace a 4 wheeler for corning up deer.

Low country redneck who moved north
Buddy has a Subaru mini truck and loves it. It's 4wd, has ac, sides fold down, bed dumps out. He has pieces he can put on the sides to make them taller. He uses it for a side hustle removing trash from people's doorsteps in a few apartment complexes. Little truck works perfect for it, gets crazy gas mileage and it actually fun to ride in. Would hate to get in a wreck though.
I'd be interested in seeing how much a group buy in would be. These ones brought over ste marked up 2 or 300%.
every expert was once a beginner
We had a Dihatsu for a few years. It’s was ok until the timing belt broke. It was not worth fixing and went to the scrap yard.

On a related note, scooping up Ford Couriers & Chevy LUVs (even moderately rusted non-runners) wouldn't be a bad idea - prices on those are starting to head north...
