Has anyone found a good battery powered nav light that can be mounted into the original hard-wired port? I need a quick fix for now as I’m rewiring the boat later on.

I don't think this is what he's looking for but....
I have this set of attwoods in both of my boats for backup. Unfortunately, I have used them on occasion. They work great....if you put them on right. I put the front lights on upside down one night. Got a couple of nasty comments until i realized it and flipped them.

I got a set of NaviSafe nav/running lights for my jon boat after I got tired of replacing the hardwired ones. AAA batteries and completely waterproof. No issues a year and a half in.
The magnetic base can mount over the original hole (for nav lights up front). They make a pole/base that you could mount over the anchor/stern light hole, but I just mounted the magnetic base on my old stern light pole.
