I feel like I'm on "Soaring" in Epcot and are supposed to be a dove looking for a good field to eat in.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

pre-emerge -1pt of dual, 4oz spartan. 4oz cadre over the top, I'm using drop nozzles between the rows, helps target the weeds and stay off flowers. Most effective weed control is a Hudson Never Pump Backpack Sprayer filled with roundup.

2nd edit: Forgot, I did a 1.25 or 1.5 pts of Poast over the top a couple weeks before cadre app to knock back some panic grass lookin stuff.

ETA. still plenty of time for the sesbania to take over, not out of the woods yet

Have issues every now and then with over spray between corn and flowers. I don't like em that close but it happens sometimes when trying to fill in the gaps

    Notes to self:
    1. Remove Scott from the list
    2. Continue to keep Kevin off the list

    More notes to self:
    3. Pressure wash Jeff and Jeff's boys and Jeff's dogs and all their gear before hand
    4. add KC to the list

Rebel Yell sighting. Hey RY. He's cool.

And that's probably why I don't get invites.. pigweed shakes, like old Mexican dirt weed.. I'm not sure how much longer our weeds will be at bay with the rain we've had as of late. None for a month, none that registered.. now it's like we're living in Bangladesh

    Default Dove Season '23-24

Pictures taken this morning of my 5 acre field. I planted sunflowers, browntop, sorghum, buckwheat, and still have some standing wheat and rye. Also have a decent amount of weeds between each of the planted crops. Recent heavy rains caused some washouts but overall I’m happy with it this year.
