    Default Turkey Ammo - Selections

While going through all my turkey stuff today I noticed that I am essentially out of the older gray/camo box Federal Heavyweight #7 in 20 ga. This has been my go to load for years out of my M1. Does anyone have any of these laying around they want to sell or know where I can find some? Ammo seek has not been any help.

Now - it looks like the new turkey ammo you need a 2nd mortgage. What is everyone using this year in 20 ga.?

The shells are far and away the cheapest part of turkey hunting. Get you some 1 5/8oz #9 TSS. My clan shoots the Apex variety.

Been rolling my own TSS loads for years now. $200 worth of supplies is a long ass time of shells and as good or better then anything else on the market. Only way to consistently guarantee the shell.

Thanks Hoggin! If anyone else has any of this ammo they're interested in selling let me know.

SCHuntinFanatic - that is a nasty pattern @ 40 yards.

Coastal - that's also a hell of a pattern and sharp looking gun. I agree, I've had good luck with those HW#7 over the years. My small stockpile has finally ran out.

How many boxes do you need? I have some, but I still shoot those too.

MKW....I bought 1 box from Hoggin but would be interested in a few more. If you're still using them I completely understand. Just let me know. Heath
