Well, since SLED said they reopened the Smith case because of credible evidence gained during the investigation of his father, it would seem logical. Also, there is a drone video by an independent videographer of John Marvin removing guns from the house's side door while SLED was parked in the front yard. Not sure how he comes away without an honest hard look, at least. MG

Once FBI was satisfied the guns were not the ones they were looking for, it would seem reasonable they might ask them to remove them and secure them elsewhere. I would expect they had them in an inventory of what they found on site.

Considering the case was reopened reopened during the investigation of Paul and Maggie's death based off evidence found at Moselle I would think Buster is on pins and needles waiting for the hammer to drop. I would not want to be in his shoes.

Bingo! As well as they weren't staying there, and it was turning into a carnival like atmosphere, as we were able to see ourselves via people driving drones around at will.
