Say the turkeys will start gobbling when the dogwoods start blooming.

Drove by one on Friday on the side of a forest service road. Rolled down the window and made some awful mouth yelps but he gobbled right back. My daughter got a kick out of seeing that.

I listened in Clarendon county this morning. Cold, windy and damp with no birds singing. Zero gobbles. Was rebating coon traps about 1:00 and had one rip at about 100. Kinda made me moist

Saw a big flock of gobblers on the side of the road on the 4th. All struting and blowed up in Chester County. My thoughts, you better get off the road or you wont make it to the open season.

Been waiting on this here for a while. Hard to beat sunrise or sunset top water action. Went and listened Thursday morning on NF land, and sat on the tail gate and listened to one bird gobble for an hour. He fired off at 6:12, and was still going when I left at 7:15

Turkeys have been gobbling around the lake for a month.
Bass are bedding from Eutawville to Cross.
    Dolphin aren’t here.

Pretty sure it’s safe to say that the old timer’s predictions no longer apply

Had a gobbler sound off for a solid hour today while fishing. He was letting it roll for 11am to 12pm. I just the WMA maps and it is on public grounds. Hmmmm
